Our Team at CP Technologies

Al Andrade, Principal

		Al Andrade brings more than 30 years experience with software solutions and training in the home decor and contracting industries to his leadership of the company. Al has been directly involved with the cabinet industry since the mid-eighties. Prior to that he owned a successful decorating products showroom and contracting company for more than 15 years. That company specialized in redecorating medium to large office and commercial spaces with the client in place. Al pounced on the new technology when the first micro computers arrived on the scene in the seventies. He integrated hardware and software from a number of vendors until his retail showroom and contracting businesses were computerized.
As a pioneer with the then fledgling technology, he was sought after to consult with businesses similar to his own and with computer companies to duplicate the system he created. Today that system is referred to as POS (Point of Sale). Al is an experienced instructor having taught at more than 500 training sessions. To date he has taught more than two thousand designers how to use 20-20 Design Software using curriculum developed at CP Technologies. In addition to his business activities, Al has served in numerous leadership positions including Chairman of the Gloucester Planning Board, President of the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce as well as officer positions in various trade organizations and today serves as a member of the Steering Committee at 20-20 Technologies.

Susan Shalkoski CKD, 20-20 Design Trainer

Susan Shalkoski is an industry veteran with more than 18 years experience in virtually all areas of Kitchen & Bath design and sales.

Prior to joining CP Technologies Susan worked for five years at a major metro Boston area showroom where she trained sales associates in the basics of kitchen design and taught 20-20 Design software in addition to her design and sales responsibilities. Prior to that she worked in kitchen and bath design and sales for 8 years at a national home center chain in both the home center and high-end showroom environments.

Susan's 20-20 Design students benefit from her wealth of industry experience and knowledge gained from working in every aspect of the Kitchen and Bath business.

Phyllis Andrade, Office Manager

Although Phyllis Andrade’s official title at CP Technologies is Office Manager she wears many hats and is reputed to be “the logistical backbone of the company.” Phyllis brings an extensive sales and customer service background to her role as Office Manager at CP Technologies.

In the mid eighties, after the sale of the retail showroom and contracting company she owned with her husband, Phyllis returned to her earlier career in banking. Her last position prior to joining her husband in business again at CP Technologies was Bank Branch Manager where she supervised a staff of Bank Tellers and Customer Service Representatives. Among her other responsibilities as a Branch Manager, she created training materials and trained bank staff on products and banking procedures.

In addition to her role as Office Manager at CP Technologies, Phyllis handles class scheduling and assists customers with everything from additional software license purchases to hotel recommendations.
